Powers of Ten
The 1977 short film by Charles and Ray Eames explores the relative size of things from the microscopic to the cosmic. Zooming out by a factor of 10 every 10 seconds the viewer is transported from an overhead view of a man (100) to the expanses of the universe (1025) and back down, ending with the depiction of the nucleus of an atom (10-18). Heady stuff.
