Blaise Aguera y Arcas architect of Seadragon, and the co-creator of Photosynth demos new augmented-reality mapping technology as part of Bing maps. It’s pretty impressive layering user generated content such as photography and real-time video into maps allowing a user to flip through historical and current views.

As well as Evan’s artwork for incase that pays homage to the cities of Tokyo, London and New York there’s a great video giving a glimpse into his creative process. RIT Graphic Design Archive

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) have put their Graphic Design Archive online. The archives document the work of American graphic designers active from the 1920s to the 1950s as well as selected contemporary designers working in the modernist traditions and includes work from Saul Bass, Lester Beall, Alvin Lustig, Paul Rand and Massimo Vignelli.

Flickr founder’s Stewart Butterfield and Cal Henderson’s new project ‘Glitch‘ goes into alpha testing this week. Currently in development, it’s a ‘massively-multiplayer game, playable in the browser and built in the spirit of the web’ and is set to launch later this year. Teaser video looks amazing.
