The US Library of Congress and Flickr launch a pilot project that sees more than 3,000 images from the libraries collection with no copyright restrictions made available online in the hope that Flickr users will tag, comments and annotate the images. There are some fantastic images and most of them have been already heavily tagged. Lets hope we see more public institutions open up their collections in this way.
