Defining Obama'08

- Great article on the winning design by the winner Stani Michiels for the new Dutch 5 Euro commemorative coin which had the theme ‘Netherlands and Architecture’
- The Museum of London unveils it’s new brand identity created by Coley Porter Bell. Interesting use of a colour layer map to show the expansion and change of London. Nice work and looking forward to seeing it in situ.
- Designworkplan on the Dutch Government’s corporate typeface Rijksoverheid
. Designed by Peter Verheuland based on a previous typeface of his ‘Versa‘ it aims to provide a consistent identity between the 200+ government departments and ministries. The project’s part of a complete re-brand led by Dutch design stalwarts Studio Dumbar.
